Manchmal entstehen hier durch die Leewirkung der Norwegischen Gebirgslandschaft kleine \u00fcberraschende Tiefs. Dann hat man schnell einen handfesten Sturm. \u00dcberall hat die industrielle Fischerei die traditionellen Fischer zur\u00fcck gedr\u00e4ngt. Doch hier wollen das die M\u00e4nner und Frauen von der Kooperative nicht hinnehmen. Aufgrund der Lage hin zur Nordsee ist der Bau eines Hafens hier nicht m\u00f6glich. Thorup Strand ist einer der seltenen K\u00fcstenanlandungspl\u00e4tze in Europa.
